I have a friend who has gotten a free cruise from playing at one of the casinos here in Connecticut and my wife and I play at the same casino. Now she gets free cruises all the time (she only takes one per year, I think). My wife and I can't figure out how to get offered that first free cruise.

It's a reserved table, no other elements involved help that 42 rolls. Idiots throwing money in the middle of the roll or stacking 5 dollar chip sky high where the dice lands. Great shooting technic regardless.

I am new to craps. what does the chip placement mean from the dealers. Does this mean anything or is it a way to help them remember which bet is for which person. Thanks in advance.

For the record, I do shoot at Ellis Island often. The tables are on the bouncier side of the spectrum at Ellis. Those who shoot enough dice know that just by watching the reaction of the dice after contact on the table in the video.

Aloha Craps Community! The casinos have the best “scientific data” on this controversial craps subject. A good question we should be pondering, no matter what side of the fence you currently are on is: “Why are casinos investing money into making their tables more bouncy with different types of underlayments? Also, if you pay attention to the electronic craps table scene. Here in Las Vegas the casinos just recently upgraded all the electronic craps tables with a lot more aggressive speed bumps on the table surface and a spongy bouncy material on the bottom area of the diamond back walls. Are the casinos doing this to help extend all of our rolls which in turn will increase our profits for those betting on the Lightside?

That's a bouncy table. But I would consider this controlled random. He set the same set every time more or less the same pitch. His pitch is not perfect but it did good for him. Where I live in Argentina they do not let you set the dice, They hand them to you and you can place them on the felt for better grip but arent allowed to look down a lot or move the dice around or you get a warning and expelled from the table if they really notice, they rather have the you throw the dice how they hand them to you w/o placing them down on the felt. dissapoints, and also makes you think....

To "PROVE" would take thousands of times.. Then again, to get to a point you might prove it would take tens of thousands of times in practice.

I have a certain dice set for the come out and I do roll more 7's. And when the point is on, I change the set and if i'm havin g a big roll I pound the 6 & 8's

I am 14 minutes into the video, and if you pay attention, he starts to hone in on a landing zone, which, if you want to repeat longer rolls, is very important.

There are few dice controllers who can call numbers but, I have seen two. One, in Las Vegas, in the late 1990s and the guy threw a one-hundred dollar chip out and said to hop the hard 10, then rolled a hard ten. This guy also had a MONSTER roll of at least an hour. The second was at the Mardis Gras casino in Tunica, in the early 2000s. A guy would throw a $100 chip out and say "Box Cars!" then roll a twelve. Then he would roll for a while and do it again or call and roll an eleven or a two or whatever he hopped. It was incredible. That guy also had a monster roll.

I would say, dice control, not really. But, I do believe you have to think of it like any other repeatable motion. Think of bowling, horseshoes, darts, etc. And, the energy in the dice when you make a pass. If you can control your mechanics and the energy, I do believe you put yourself in a position that will allow you to have longer rolls a little more often. The randomness of the dice hitting the will have it's own effect, which can be a negative at times. Hence, the dreaded PSO

Listen. If you want to win at craps. Use the pass line and odds. Also play the inside. My other bet is 6&8 Hardway. In addition hedge your pass line bet on the come out with C&E. Do not press bets hoping for a hot roller. You will still do good and risk less with this strategy. It’s cheap and will pay with even an 6-8 roll. Lastly if the table is cold just leave. Pressing bets in craps is only good for the casino.

My favorite is when two people walk up and one ask the other about how to play and the “expert” Will say something like “they keep rolling until they roll a 7” ffs 🤦‍♀️

My favorite spot is 1 left of stick, which shortens the length of the throw. In my mind the less force you have to use to throw the dice, the more influence you can put on them. I shoot from L1 to the far right corner and the goal is to have them lightly hit the wall with as minimal force as possible. But I still only have one good roll for about every 4th bad one.

My understanding of dice setting is that if it actually worked you wouldn't have any sideways movement of the dice. The dice would only roll forward or backwards, which keeps you from being able to roll a 7. Obviously these dice are rolling left and right, so....

I think the mind plays a role!

First, I love your videos. However, a “gut feel” has no place at a craps table. Past rolls simply do not predict future outcomes.

You just got lucky. This strategy is a complete failure with your usual luck, PSO. I hope you never lose with this strategy, but I do not advise it for others.

At the end of the day, you’re still gambling. There’s always going to be randomness and luck involved. Sometimes it’s hot. Sometimes it’s cold. You just gotta hope it gets hot when you’re on the table.

When I put my landing zone where the wall meets the table I had the best results. We were there the day after this was filmed and had a 40+ roll which is longest for me

😢 as for not betting come because you're worried about losing your base bet on come out 7, you should be placing full free odds behind your come bets so that most of your bet quantity is off on the come out and you're only going to lose your base bet. If the comeout sevens are hot, you can lay against your traveled come bets on the come out.

In my view you should only adjust your set if you're throwing nearly perfect shots every time. Otherwise you're just putting variables on top of variables. So the real key to effectively adjusting your set is doing the actual practice hours so you throw well.

Nice strategy. For the table you were playing, I wouldn't plan on gambling without $15k walk-in bankroll. It scales, however. 😊 Your bankroll depends not only on the game and strategy, but also on the time it takes to recover from an loss. E.g. In this instance, say $3.5k down, go home. How long does it take you to earn that much? If it's out of reach, don't go inside in the first place except to people-watch. Gambling for profit isn't a continuous function. It's a very discreet function, and whether you choose to play should be dictated by your life's requirement. It has hard steps, and to go in for more than entertainment requires the ability to look at it as a job. Not for fun. A job. And it's not for everyone. And that's ok.

If dice setting were possible you could build a robot that would throw dice exactly the same way and get the same roll each time. In reality you only need to reduce the probability of rolling a7 a tiny bit to give the player an edge. It would become immediately obvious that dice setting worked. Nice video but not evidence of anything except a nice roll. Regarding not throwing 7s in 20+ rolls that's really the only way you can hit the all so it does happen just not when I'm playing 😂

The best way to play budget craps wirhout feeling pressured into tipping the dealer is bubble craps

Do not drink when gambling. Do not try to make time with the cocktail waitresses when you should be paying attention to the game. If you can afford to do both, then you might as well just give your money away OR treat it entirely as entertainment and don't be upset if you lose a lot.

Don't ever cave to intimidation from other players. You play you. You're playing against the house, not other players, as in casino craps the players do not bank the play.

Until I see somebody video a shooter live, either random or dice setter (preferably both). To me, random beats out dice setting.

I have started setting, 6x 2-3 back on come out. 5s up 1s back for point. It doesn't always work but I seem to get longer runs. Being consistant with the throw is the hard part. As far as pros go I was on a cruise recently where the a guy got cut off 1st night because he was up 10k! He came back the next 2 days starting with $1500 and walking away with $7500-$8500 each time. When he threw the dice always landed in the same spot! Cheers
